Rachael Hargreaves
Director
Rachael founded HMS Developments and leads every project, from finding and assessing buildings to planning, funding and delivery.
Before property, she held senior HR roles in high-pressure environments. There she built the skills she now brings to HMS: negotiation, risk management, analysing figures and planning strategically. She has a BA (Hons) in Business Management from Brunel University and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD).
She has built her own property portfolio and worked on residential developments and commercial-to-residential conversions. She has also trained in commercial property and development with Ranjan Bhattacharya and Simon Zutshi. She now puts that experience to work on conversions across the South West of England.

Richard Stone
Non-Executive Advisor
Richard brings more than three decades of hands-on experience across construction, project delivery and property development, having worked on projects ranging from complex commercial schemes through to large-scale residential developments.
Throughout his career he has built a reputation for practical problem solving, commercial awareness and an unwavering focus on delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
His strength lies in identifying opportunities, navigating challenges and bringing together the many moving parts involved in successful development projects, from acquisition and planning through to construction and completion.
Richard advises HMS Developments on construction and development delivery, giving investors, vendors and partners confidence that projects are in experienced hands.
Outside of property, Richard is a husband and father, and believes strongly in conducting business with integrity, transparency and long-term relationships at its heart.
